Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions are applied when you book your stay at us through the website of Villa Lou.

You can book your stay from two nights. If you book only one night with us, we charge an additional rate of 15.00 euros.

Check in | from 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

It is possible to check in earlier at 12:00. We charge an additional fee of 20.00 euros for this.
If you book your stay with us, we ask that you transfer the full amount in one go.
Your reservation at Villa Lou is only confirmed after an email from Villa Lou confirming your payment.
The price per night does not include tourist tax of €1 per person per night. You pay the tourist tax at Villa Lou, and it cannot be paid in advance. We then paid taxes to the municipality of Toscolano-Maderno.

Methods of payment:

At Villa Lou you can use your electronic device to pay. When you want to pay with a credit card, you can do this with Visa or Mastercard. We do not accept American Express.
You can pay cash.
You can pay via our website with an online payment system.

It may happen that you have to cancel your stay with us. In this case, we ask you to call us +39 348 719 0667 or mail us at info@villalou.com.
If you cancel within the 24 hours of your booking, we will refund the full amount.
Your cancellation is free of charge up to 30 days before the start date of your stay. If your cancellation is communicated on time, we will refund the amount to your account as soon as possible.
If you cancel your stay between 29 days to 20 days before the start date of the stay, we will charge 60% of the total amount
If you cancel your stay between 19 days and 10 days before the start date of the stay, we will charge 80% of the total amount.
If you cancel your stay between 9 days and 1 day before the start date of the stay, we will charge 100% of the total amount. This also applies to no-shows.
We do not give any discounts or refunds if you decide to stay shorter than your length of stay.
Villa Lou can only cancel the reservation in the event of force majeure, natural disaster, fire, death of the owners or family members, or hospitalization.
In one of these cases, the owner will offer the guest an alternative as soon as possible. If no alternative is possible or the guest does not accept the alternative offered, we will refund the full amount. Any other costs resulting from the cancellation will not be reimbursed by Villa Lou.
We recommend that you take out travel and/or cancellation insurance.

NB: The general terms and conditions only apply to the Villa Lou website.

During your stay at Villa Lou it is mandatory to have legal liability insurance.
Villa Lou is in no way liable for any cause of damage, loss or theft that you may have or receive during your stay.
If damage is caused to the accommodation, furnishing and surrounding territory during your stay, you must inform Villa Lou.
In the event of repeated complaints from neighbours and/or other guests, Villa Lou will intervene and ask the tenant(s) in question to leave.

Your stay

Upon arrival you will receive one set of keys from us intended for your stay. This key ring contains the key to the front door, a key for the door of your accommodation and a gate key that you can operate remotely. We count on you to carry this set of keys with you with care. In case of theft or loss we will charge €75.
If you wish to receive guests, you must inform Villa Lou in advance.
Bringing and consuming drinks and food you bring with you is permitted, provided they are kept hygienically in the appropriate (refrigerator) cupboard.
It is not allowed to sleep in the beds without sheets and pillowcases. In the event that non-removable stains occur in the mattress, duvet, pillows or towels during the stay, we will charge the guest for the resulting cleaning and/or replacement costs.
